1 slice whole-grain bread, lightly toasted
1 teaspoon soft margarine
4-5 fresh, ripe strawberries, washed, stems removed and smashed
3 teaspoons sugar |
Put warm toast on a small plate. Spread lightly with margarine or butter. Spread strawberries evenly on the buttered bread. Sprinkle with sugar. Gently press the strawberries with a fork until the juice mixes with the sugar. Cut in half.
