Meetings and Events:  LaHouse offers a unique setting for meetings and events -- with multi-media meeting space, the beautifully furnished demonstration house, porches, landscaped grounds, and hassle-free parking for visitors, including handicap and bus parking. The Teaching Center  includes a 730 square foot meeting space with:

• Wireless Internet and floor outlets for laptops
• Computer with MS PowerPoint 2007 and presenter laptop connection option
• 52” monitor
• DVD/VCR
• Distance education technology linked with AgCenter sites throughout Louisiana (additional arrangements required)
• Table and chair seating for up to 36
• Chair-only seating for 40
• Kitchenette with full size refrigerator, built-in ice-maker, convection-microwave oven and sink
• 30-cup and 14 cup coffee makers (coffee service available)
• Mens and ladies restrooms

Rental rates are lower than comparable campus meeting spaces and LaHouse includes the unique benefit of  its many exhibits to explore!  Discounts are available for major LaHouse Key Contributors, LSU and government agency staff.  Facilities are free to LSU AgCenter employees for educational and professional events during normal business hours. See the link below for current Facility Rental rates and use policies. 

Tiger Gameday Season Parking Passes:  On home game days, LaHouse season pass holders have exclusive guest parking privileges on the LaHouse site before and during the games. LaHouse is located directly across from Alex Box Baseball Stadium on Gourrier Ave, off Nicholson Drive.  100% of the proceeds from the season parking pass fees support LaHouse educational programs and exhibits!  See the link below for current LaHouse Gameday Parking Pass Policies and Order Form.

NOTE:  All activities must be approved by LaHouse officials. LSU AgCenter/LaHouse reserves the right to limit use of these facilities to events it deems appropriate to support its mission. Exclusive use of the house during M-F business hours requires a minimum one month advance booking to allow public notice that the house will not be open to the public during the exclusive event time.
