LaHouse program coordinators have been appointed – completing the team that guides the construction of Louisiana House Resource Center, then will build its educational program.
The LaHouse coordinator is Sandra Scallan (center). A long-time and active LaHouse volunteer, Sandra brings to the initiative a crucial combination of management, marketing and teaching experience; academic credentials; and a proven dedication to the LaHouse vision. When construction is complete, she will be responsible for the operation of the exhibit house and its consumer education programs.
Dr. Rodney Hendrick (far right), LSU AgCenter water quality specialist, is also LaHouse site coordinator. Rod’s expertise in best management practices, water quality, waste management and entomology and work with horticulture faculty will be a tremendous asset in managing the LaHouse Site and its educational programs.
