Saturday, November 15: Community educators from the RIS will be in Jean Lafitte from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Senior Citizens Center located at 4927 Treasure Dr, Lafitte, LA 70067. We will have seminars on “Steps to Elevating your Home,” “Accessibility Options for Elevated Houses,” and “Floodproofing and Flood-resistant Materials.”
Sunday, November 16: Our rebuilding information partnership (UNO-CHART, LSU AgCenter and Tulane City Center) will be joining forces with others to present a Community Rebuilding and Flood Protection Expo. 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. - in the Lakeview Community. More info
