Bat House Project A Sucess!

AWCC members Amber Latiolais and Shelley Martin recently completed a bat house project! On July 25, 2008, at the Zoo of Acadiana, the two AWCC members, Jungle Camp participants, and other community volunteers worked together to construct and put up bat houses. The bat house project was a great sucess. Not only did the participants get to build bat boxes, but they also learned more about native bat species in the state of Louisiana. We would like to thank the Zoo of Acadiana for their cooperation
