Phase I trainings are held each spring and fall, historically through distance education. The trainings have been taught from the Dean Lee Research Station in Alexandria and broadcast to several sites, including the Red River Research Station, Scott Center in Winnsboro and the Acadia Parish Extension office in Crowley. In addition, individual parish trainings may be scheduled throughout the year.
