Areas of Specialization/Research
Manage all aspects of the swine unit; assist sows during farrowing; supervise breeding of sows after weaning; collect boars for A.I., provide health care supervision; supervise dispersal (sale) of animals; purchase, mix and supervise distribution of feed rations; assist scientists in data collection; assist in extension/teaching as requested or assigned; general maintenance of facilities and equipment; maintain accurate equipment and livestock inventories.
Research interests and experience: Judge livestock shows around the state and host educational swine programs for junior swine exhibitors. |
