Maxine Reeves Award

The purpose of the award is to honor Maxine Reeves, past national and state president, who was working in Lasalle Parish at the time of her retirement in 1980.  The award recognizes professional development in LEAFCS and NEAFCS.

Eligibility:

  • To qualify for the award, nominee's dues must be paid to the state treasurer before dues are submitted to national.

  • All members of LEAFCS are eligible to be nominated.

  • Nominee cannot receive the award twice.

  • Nominee must apply for a NEAFCS award, agree to serve on a NEAFCS committee, or accept a program assignment at the national meeting.

To apply, complete the application form below and return to Ophelia Allen by fax (318 767-3971), e-mail or hard copy.  Deadline for application submission is March 2, 2007.
