Chi Epsilon Sigma

The purpose of this Fraternity is to “maintain the standards and ideals, uphold the morale, prestige and respect of the LSU AgCenter support staff” and to develop working relationships and fraternal fellowship among employees.

Membership into Chi Epsilon Sigma - Epsilon Chapter is open to LSU AgCenter support staff. The membership year begins on January 1 of each year. Any current member may be contacted for more information.

The officers of Chi Epsilon Sigma consist of president, president-elect, secretary, treasurer, and immediate past president. There are nine directors that sit on the board.

Rosalie J. Bivin Professional Development Scholarship

Chi Epsilon Sigma - Epsilon Chapter, an organization for support staff of the LSU AgCenter, gives out two scholarships annually for members who submit an application in the fall. The scholarships are $250 each and may be used towards classes, seminars, books, class supplies, etc. in professional development.

2011 Angela Hood Sunshine Award Recipient - Faye Ritchie
Chi Epsilon Sigma presents one Angela Hood Sunshine Award to a deserving member who has shown Angela's sunny disposition and personality throughout the year. This year's winner is Faye Ritchie from West Feliciana Parish.
2011 Award of Excellence Winner Announced
2011 CES Award of Excellence Winner - Patricia Bollich
Every year Chi Epsilon Sigma gives out the Award of Excellence to one deserving member of the organization that meets certain criteria based on the nomination. This year's winner is Patricia Bollich, Scientific Research Technologist in Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology Department.
2011 Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award Winner
2011 Above & Beyond the Call of Duty Award winner - Jodi Davis
Every year Chi Epsilon Sigma awards the 'Above and Beyond the Call of Duty' award to one deserving paid member of the organization by accepting nominations from anyone in the LSU AgCenter. This year's winner was Jodi Davis, Administrative Coordinator 4 in Knapp Hall.

A person who has performed satisfactory service as an LSU AgCenter support staff employee shall be eligible for membership without regard to race, color, age, sex, religion, disability, or national origin.
