Narrative:
Very early semidwarf long-grain variety. Averages 85 days from emergence to 50% heading and 99 cm in height at maturity. Displays typical southern U.S. long-grain cereal chemistry characteristics (intermediate-high gelatinization temperature and high amylose). Moderately resistant to Pyricularia grescia and susceptible to Rhizoctonia solani. Displays excellent yield potential, good milling quality, and good ratoon production characteristics.
