Welcome to the International Cultural Center

Web site: International Cultural Center

The International Cultural Center (ICC) was established to be a place on campus where all nationalities could come together and learn from each other. It is located at the corner of West Lake Shore Drive & Dalrymple (the northeast edge of the campus). Many lifelong friendships from around the world are established at the ICC.

The ICC has a conference room that can hold up to 20 people; the Heagler Room can accommodate 50 to 70 people; and our "Hall of Cultures," which is the ICC's main meeting room, holds up to 275 people. Additionally, the ICC has a full kitchen, a lounge and game area, an apartment for up to 10 people and two offices for students and staff.

The "Hall of Cultures" displays more than 100 flags, which hang from the ceiling. The ICC also has a computer mini-lab with printing, e-mail and fax capabilities and other office conveniences, as well as cable television and a big screen television.

If you have any suggestions or would like to get involved, please don't hesitate to contact the ICC, which can be reached by phone at (225) 342-3084, by fax at (225) 342-0864, or by e-mail at icc@lsu.edu. Get involved, learn about leadership, make friends and valuable contacts and help make the ICC the most exciting place to be on campus.

The International Cultural Center is at 3365 Dalrymple Drive. The office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the ICC is open for use of the computer lab and lobby television until 10:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Also, on selected weekend nights, the ICC sponsors various events, such as parties or dinners.
