Classified Performance Evaluation System (CPES)


The AgCenter has a performance appraisal system for each category of employee. The Classified Performance Evaluation System (CPES) provides a systematic process that assesses an individual employee’s job performance and productivity in relation to certain pre-established criteria and organizational objectives. Other aspects of individual employees may be considered as well, such as accomplishments, potential for future improvement, strengths and weaknesses, etc. The classified performance evaluation will be formally conducted annually. The evaluation interaction between supervisor and employee should be on-going throughout the year.
