Image of Flyer
LSU AgCenter scientists have discovered a method to quickly solubilize high molecular weight chitosans. These chitosan products can be prepared with various concentrations/viscosities, allowing a wide range of potential applications such as food-grade coatings, antimicrobial agents, moist wound dressings, drug delivery, and environmental water treatment. The LSU AgCenter high molecular weight chitosan products are also natural and biodegradable.
