4-H Youth and Family Development Research Review 2011-2012

The Louisiana 4-H Youth Development program plays a critical role in the development of youth from across our great state. Through research-based, high-quality, experiential, informal educational programs, youth from diverse populations are offered opportunities to grow and develop. These opportunities provide an avenue for youth to expand life skills and reach their potential to positively develop into caring, contributing, capable citizens. This report offers a snapshot of the many 4-H youth and family development programs available through the Louisiana State University AgCenter.
