Participating Schools in 2008 YWW Program

|  | | Middle school students participate in the "Wetland Web" lesson. This lesson teaches students that all aspects of a wetland environment, from the insects living in the mud to alligators hunting in the water, are all connected and necessary to maintain a healthy wetland. |
| 2008 is gearing up to be another great year for the Youth Wetlands Program. There has been a huge turn out of parishes and schools this year participating in YWW activities. Up to 270 schools in more than 50 parishes have signed up more than 50,000 students to receive wetland education lessons and participate in reestoration projects.
