SURVIVOR Camp-- Got It in You?
When: July 7-11
Where: Camp Avondale
Who: Military kids and non-military kids from OMK Partner Organizations (4-H, Boys and Girls Clubs, and more) interested in working with military youth.
Cost: $200-- first 150 military youth registrants will receive $100 camperships.
Louisiana OMK and Louisiana 4-H, along with the Istrouma Area Council Boy Scouts of America are giving kids a chance to test their mettle with activities designed to teach them how to survive in the outdoors July 7-11.
Registration packet must be submitted before June 12!!
If you are interested in being an adult volunteer for this camp, registration fees are waved, but registrants must be screened two weeks (by June 20) prior to the camp and must attend a required training on July 6.
