Life in a Forest

The December 2011 Discovery Days program featured "Life in a Forest." During this hour-long program, youth learned about the variety of plants and animals that live in a forest and how they benefit humans. Books, songs and a film about the forest introduced the topic then youth enjoyed the hands-on activities shown here. All activities involved objects derived from trees.
