Louisiana 4-H started in 1908 in Avoyelles Parish as a corn club to teach about 300 boys the best way to grow corn.
Now the program serves more than 240,000 boys and girls every year through many different projects, programs, camps, workshops and award-winning curricula.
Explore the Louisiana 4-H Museum and see how the LSU AgCenter’s 4-H youth development program grew to reach youth in all 64 parishes.
