Each year the LSU Athletic Department offers the 4-H program an opportunity to attend an LSU football game at reduced ticket prices. These tickets can be purchased by 4-H members, their families, volunteers and 4-H professionals. The 4-H Day with the Tigers is scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Tiger Stadium with LSU vs. Western Kentucky. It’s homecoming and will provide extra excitement and activities during the game. The tailgate will be held in Parker Coliseum with free parking beginning at 6:30 a.m., and registration inside Parker Coliseum starting at 10 a.m. The LSU Golden Girls will perform at 10:30 a.m., cheerleaders, mascot and Tiger Girls at 2:30 p.m. There will be several games available for 4-H members in Parker Coliseum, including the Rock Wall, along with over 100 door prizes for 4-H members, as well as food, water and drinks for everyone. Vice Chancellor Paul Coreil and the Louisiana 4-H Foundation are sponsoring the annual 4-H tailgate.

Tickets are $25; all seats are located in the East Upper Deck. On Tuesday, September 20, 4-H tickets will be available for purchase. Contact your parish 4-H agent for more specific details. The Homecoming game and 4-H tailgate program will be a great experience for 4-H members and their families. Please contact your local parish 4-H office if you have any questions or would like to purchase tickets.
