The Spring Florida Parishes 4-H Outdoor Skills Field Day will be held Saturday, March 7th at the Southeast Research Station. The station is located on Hwy. 16 just west of Franklinton. The event will start at 9:00 am.
They will have the usual shotgun and archery shooting and will "kick-off" the 4-H Fishing project. It will include a casting demo with practice, fish ID and ecology, along with "Who Wants to be a Fishing Millionaire."

The Spring Field Day will also be a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Field Day to complete your requirements for the Hunter's Safety card. Then come to the Field Day and complete the required activities that day.
Shotguns, ammo, targets, rods and reels will be provided. This event is free to attend and lunch is provided. Come find out what the 4-H Shooting Sports Program is all about!!!
