Calling all volunteers! Join 4-H volunteer leaders from 13 Southeastern states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, including Louisiana, at the 4-H Rock Eagle Center in Eatonton, Georgia, October 2-5, 2008 at the annual Southern Region 4-H Volunteer Forum.
Louisiana is excited about hosting the multi-state Southern Region 4-H Volunteer Forum at Georgia’s Rock Eagle 4-H Center in October 2008. What an awesome privilege and opportunity for each of us! As this year’s theme implies, “4-H:A Taste for All”, the forum will offer an opportunity to expand our horizons with interactive workshops, inspirational speakers and entertainment, special cultural events and high quality exhibits.
Rock Eagle is a yearly training but once every 13 years we have the opportunity to host. Join us in showing the south eastern United States our tradition of Louisiana hospitality. You will return to Louisiana reenergized and refocused in our volunteer efforts. What better way to network and to build camaraderie with other volunteers and staff across the nation. Together we can make the best better. It’s not too late to get involved and do your part for the 2008 Forum: recruit new volunteers, be a part of a committee, and to experience this wonderful opportunity. A registration packet is attached with information on special events, scheduled activities and tours and workshops.
Hurry! Early bird registration ends July 21st.
