(Distributed 03/26/13) BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU AgCenter’s 4-H youth development program has received a $1.5 million, three-year grant to continue a wetlands-based curriculum aimed at students and teachers in grades fourth through 12th. This is the third time the AgCenter has received a grant for this program, which has been in operation since 2007.

Adriana Drusini and Jennifer Ducote, both 4-H agents, and Catherine Siracusa, black bear conflict officer, will receive the Governor’s Conservation Award in Baton Rouge on Feb. 23.

(Distributed 10/11/12) BATON ROUGE, La. – A Louisiana man will be posthumously inducted in the National 4-H Hall of Fame on Oct. 12 in Chevy Chase, Md. Leroy Robbins, from East Baton Rouge Parish, is one of 16 inductees.
