Pesticide Recertification Meeting
March 25, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The Pesticide Recertification Meetings will be held on March 25, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Calcasieu Parish LSU AgCenter office. You are required to attend one of the upcoming meetings. If you are already certified as a private applicator, check the expiration date on your card. If your certification expires March 2008, you are eligible for re-certification. If your card expired prior to March 2008, you will have to take a closed book examination. The examination can be taken at my office any time during regular business hours.
At the conclusion of the Private Applicator Training, those in attendance will reapply to the Department of Agriculture for a Private Applicator’s Card. This card is valid for three years, and will permit you to purchase and use restricted pesticides. The cost of the card has increased to $25.00. This must be paid the day of the certification. Cash or check will be accepted.
