Red River Rumble - Goat Show

 Dewitt Livestock Facility

There will be a Red River Rumble Goat Show held at the Dewitt Livestock Facility in Alexandria, Louisiana.  This event is open to all 4-H'ers who show goats.  The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. on November 27.  Check in will be at 5:30 p.m. For more information contact Rodney Johnson at (318) 767-3968 or (318) 229-9514.

Red River Rumble - Beef Show

 Dewitt Livestock Facility

The Red River Rumble Beef Show will be held at the Dewitt Livestock Facility off Hwy 71 South next to LSU-A in Alexandria, Louisiana.  The show starts at 9:00 a.m. Check in is at 8:30 a.m. Entry Fee is $20 per animal. Shotgun Practice

 Florida Parishes Skeet and Gun Club

Open to all 4-H'ers in St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington parishes. Youth should bring their own gun and it must be in a case. Youth will be responsible for their own shells. Only sizes 7.5, 8, or 9 will be allowed.
 
20-gauge shotguns will be available for anyone who does not own a gun. All youth will be charged $5.00 to help offset the cost of targets.
 
Directions: About 2 miles east of Amite, take Hwy. 1054 north, go about .6 mile and turn onto VFW Road.

Contest day for 4-H members which will include beef, seafood and wild game cookery contests, photography and a bicycle rodeo.
