The Calcasieu 4-H Shooting Sports Club is very excited to begin this years activities. This years activities will again be held at the Lake Charles Gun Club on Ward Line Road south of Lake Charles. The file on the bottom of the page offers directions to the range. All club days are on Saturday and begin at 8:30 a.m. and end around noon. The follows dates are finalized for club day and other in the spring are still to be finalized. They are:
- September 20th - Only old members can attend
- October 13th - 6:30 p.m. Enrollment meeting for New members at 4-H Office
- October 25th - All members
- November 22nd
- December 13th - Club Fund raiser - Open to 4-H'ers Statewide
- January 17th
- **February 21st
- **March 14th - Parish Contest
- **April TBA - Southern Regional Contest
- **May TBA - State Contest

4-H'ers must remember to bring eye & ear protection to the range. A new rule this year states that all shooting sports participates 10 years & older must be Hunter Ed certified prior to participating in the project. Please check out the LA.
