Feliciana Expo Big Buck Contest Rules

Sponsored by the South LA Branch of QDMA, FS Williams Outfitters and Bowie Outfitters

  • Free ranging bucks legally killed in West and East Feliciana during the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 Deer Season with any weapon legal for harvesting deer. Deer that have been entered and won other buck contests not eligible for this contest.
  • Two categories, Adult Division and Youth Division (15 years or younger)
  • All entries eligible for Grand Prize, a $200 gift card, winner to be selected by random drawing.
  • Adult and Youth Division winners receive a $100 gift card.
  • All deer measured and scored based upon Boone and Crockett and Pope and Young scoring systems. Bucks that have been officially scored will not be remeasured, hunter is responsible for providing a copy of the official score sheet.
  • Deer will be scored either typical or non-typical with the winner based upon closest score or exceeds minimum score of 160 Typical or 185 Non-Typical.
  • Deer must be entered no later than 1pm on September 16th.
  • Expo not responsible for damage to mounted heads or racks; all deer must be picked up at the end of the event.
