What is 4-H?
4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.  The organization is the largest youth-serving organization in the world.
Youth in grades K-12 can participate through character education or after-school programs.  Youth in grades 4-12 can join a 4-H school club organized in most schools in Louisiana. While 4-H has its beginnings in rural America, 4-H now serves young people and volunteers from major urban centers and from suburban communities and rural non-farm settings as well.

4-H is the youth education component of Cooperative Extension, which is conducted jointly by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the state land grant university (LSU), and your parish government.
