Cassidy and Brittany Carter get serious about rabbit competion. The girls along with their parents love raising the rabbits and bringing them to all the rabbit shows.

January and February are exciting months for the St. James Parish 4-H Livestock Project members. This year the livestock project members excelled in the Parish Show at the Cow Palace on the Lutcher High School campus, Southeast District Show in Covington, and the State Show at LAMAR Dixon in Gonzales.

Mason Matirne, one of thirteen youths from around the state, has been selected for the LSU AgCenter's 2012-13 Louisiana Young Ag Producers Program.
