Forestry / Wildlife

In Louisiana, forests cover 13.8 million acres or 48% of Louisiana's land area. Of the state's 64 parishes, 59 contain land capable of producing sufficient timber to support forest industries as well as provide habitat for wildife, recreational opportunity, scenic beauty and other benefits.

Contact Robbie Hutchins at (318) 767-3968 for up-to-date information on the forestry industry.
