Mannagrass (Glyceria declinata)
| | The spikelets of mannagrass are arranged loosely on an open panicle. |
| | Mannagrass can resemble ryegrass and annual bluegrass; which are also cool-season grasses. It can be separated by its blunt leaf tip in contrast to the long tapering leaf tips of the others. |
| | The ligule is the membraneous structure at the base of the leaf in this photograph. It is large enough to be seen readily without magnification. |
