New technology is making it possible to archive historical photos in a more efficient, more easily retrievable manner. John Wozniak, photographer with Ag Center Communications, is in the process of digitizing and storing on CDs photos of past events and people. These are part of the Ag Center Photo Archive. Based on what we know so far, these photos show spraying for ticks some time in the late 1940s (top); early attempts to explain artificial insemination (middle); and a field day from the 1940s (bottom) in which the mechanical harvesting of corn was demonstrated.
