Control External Parasites of Beef Cattle

Description:
External parasites of beef cattle include several species of insects, mites and ticks. Most of these pests feed on blood, but some feed only on the skin. External parasites infest cattle of all ages, but the economic loss is usually measured in reduced weight gain of growing animals. Insect descriptions and control measures included.
