Education/Training
Dr. Eddie Funderburg of The Samual Roberts Noble Foundation. He received a B.S. in Vocational Agriculture from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston (1977), and a M.S. in Agronomy - Soil Fertility (1982) and doctorate in Education (1984) from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Eddie worked as Assistant County Agent with the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service from 1977-81. He was the state Soils and Fertilizer Specialist with the Mississippi Cooperative Extension Service from 1984-90. He then served as state Soils and Fertilizer Specialist with the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service from 1990-2000. Eddie joined the Noble Foundation in Ardmore, Ok, as the Soils and Crops Specialist with NF-2 in November 2000.
Areas of Specialization/Research
Eddie has conducted numerous on-farm research projects examining fertilizer rates, sources, timing and soil test calibration.
Professional Experience
Eddie has broad experiences in agriculture, including soil testing, irrigation water quality, soil fertility and fertilization of most crops and nutrient management planning.
