Cooperative Agreements
Louisiana State University has general exchange agreements with the following insitutions in England:
  • University of Hull
  • University of Sussex at Brighton
  • Manchester Metropolitan University
  • University of Leicester
  • University of Nottingham
  • University of Essex
  • University of Northampton
  • University of East Anglia

Faculty Engagements
Drs. Les Wade, Billy J. Harbin Professor of Theatre; Robin Roberts, Professor of English and Women’s and Gender Studies; and Mark Schafer Professor of Political Science,  will direct LSU in London, a short-term study abroad program that has been an Academic Programs Abroad staple since 1974.

Drs. Michael Desmond, Professor of Architecture, and Peter Sutherland, Professor of International Studies, will direct Footsteps in London, a short-term study abroad program focusing on architecture and anthropology, for the fifth time in summer 2010.

Jay Perkins, instructor for the Manship School of Mass Communication, will direct Magical Media Tour, a short-term study abroad program focusing on mass communications, in summer 2010. Magical Media Tour spends time in several countries, one being England. Mr. Perkins has directed Magical Media Tour for close to 10 years.

Dr. Stephanie Grey, Professor of Communication Studies, will direct Spring Break in London, a short-term study abroad program over spring break 2010. One course will be taught, The History and Rhetoric of the Body in Medicine, 1500-2000.
