4-H Camp Multipurpose Building Project

Every summer, the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center hosts thousands of youth from across Louisiana at its 4-H summer camp. The impact 4-H camp has on our youth is undeniable. In order to provide a central gathering place that will accommodate all attendees for educational and recreational programs, the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center needs a new multipurpose building.

2012 Golf Tournament Results

Thanks to the individuals, businesses and organizations that came together to support the 15th Annual Louisiana 4-H Foundation Golf Tournament. The tournament was held on Friday, April 27, at Tamahka Trails Golf Club in Marksville, La., and raised over $21,000 to support the Louisiana 4-H Youth Development Program. We thank the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana and all our sponsors and congratulate the winning teams from each flight.

4-H Foundation 15th Annual Golf Tournament

Make plans to support the 15th Annual Louisiana 4-H Foundation Golf Tournament. The tournament is scheduled for Friday, April 27, 2012, at Tamahka Trails Golf Club in Marksville, La. This is the annual fundraiser raises funds to support the Louisiana 4-H Youth Development Program. We thank the major sponsor, the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, for its generosity in allowing us the opportunity to bring this event back to Marksville.

Downs donates $10,000 to Union Parish 4-H

(Distributed 09/23/11) FARMERVILLE, La. – State Rep. Hollis Downs has established the first-ever endowment for a Louisiana parish 4-H program by donating $10,000 to Union Parish 4-H on Sept. 22.

TransCanada donates $10,000 to 4-H education center

(Distributed 08/19/11) LAFAYETTE, La. – A $10,000 donation by the TransCanada pipeline company will help fund construction of a multi-purpose building at the LSU AgCenter Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center near Pollock, La.
